The General Electric IC697CMM711 is a Communication Coprocessor Module, CCM, RTU, SNP, and SNPx Protocols. The single slot cmm provides two communications ports with protocols for communication control, remote terminal (rtu), and general plc communications (snp and snpx). The module operates in any series 90-70 rack. It provides both rs-232 and rs-485 interfaces and communicates with the plc over the backplane. ccm, rtu, snp, and snpx are available on both ports in a wide variety of combinations. Push button restart/reset initializes board to a specific state without cycling the system’s power. The cmm is completely software configured. There are no dip switches or jumpers to set..
